High-Quality Images of the Man of Steel Action Figures – ComingSoon.net
Earlier today, we reported on the companies that are involved in creating merchandising for Warner Bros.’ upcoming film Man of Steel. WB has now revealed a handful of high-qulity images for some of the film’s action figures, including Mattel’s Movie Masters, LEGO sets, and Funko’s Pop! Vinyls. You can see them in the gallery by clicking the image below.
No pricing or release date is currently known for these collectibles, but expect more updates on them during Toy Fair in a few weeks.

General Zod stars in ‘Man of Steel’ tie-in toys
Kneel before Zods.
The Kryptonian baddie General Zod is played by Michael Shannon in the upcoming summer Superman movie Man of Steel, and he also stars on toy aisles this spring and summer as part of the various action figures, construction sets, collectibles and other tie-in paraphernalia coming out with the film.
Mattel, LEGO and Funko are just a few of the companies teaming with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to release toys pegged to the movie (in theaters June 14), starring Henry Cavill as Superman and directed by Zack Snyder.

‘Smallville’ Alum In ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Mix
For about a month now, the rumor mill has been churning out potential leads for James Gunn’s upcoming film for Marvel, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’. The initial list included such names as Joel Edgerton, Jack Huston, Jim Sturgess, Lee Pace, and Eddie Redmayne. Then, Garrett Hedlund, James Marsden, and Sullivan Stapleton were added to the pool. More recently, Zachary Levi and Joseph Gordon-Levitt were named as potential actors to fill the shoes of Peter Quill, the leader of the intergalactic peacekeeping force who goes by the codename Star-Lord. ‘Smallville’ Actress Cassidy Freeman to Guest on ‘Once Upon a Time’ | TV Equals
According to a report at TV Line Freeman will make a guest appearance on the ABC fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, playing a character named Jack. And what is so familiar about that character? Well, Jack will appear in the same episode that features the return of the giant – played by ‘Lost’ alum Jorge Garcia – who guarded the beanstalk in the fairytale world while Emma (series regular Jennifer Morrison) and Snow (series regular Ginnifer Goodwin) were trapped there.
