Batman Vs Superman movie writer David Goyer recently revealed that he was aware of some of the fan theories about “Man of Steel 2” and he said that the writing in the movie will balanced on what the fans want and what he wants to write while claiming he will give them “what they don’t know they want”.
At a Los Angeles press day to promote the second season return of Da Vinci’s Demons, which Goyer wrote for Starz, Goyer talked about fan reactions and how as a screenwriter you have to give fans “what they don’t even know they want.”
“I mean, being involved in some of these comic book movies and stuff like that, people say, ‘well, this is what they should do,'” Goyer said. “And trust me, if we had just done exactly that I don’t think the audiences would have been completely happy.”
“It’s important to listen to the fan chatter, but you’re really talking about a tiny, tiny, tiny portion of your audience that may not be representative of what your mainstream audience actually thinks or feels,” he said.
“I mean, I don’t read everything that’s out there.I wouldn’t have the time. But we’re aware of some of it, yeah, and it would be silly not to be.”
Goyer is probably aware of the Supergirl Theory (Click here to read about it) and the Batman/Lex Luthor Theory (click here to read about it)
