Laura Vandervoort was every schoolboy’s crush when she played Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, in the television series “Smallville.” She hasn’t lost her sexy powers. She looks super at home in Esquire’s “Me in My Place” photo feature.

Vandervoort, 27, was born an raised in Canada. She says she was a tomboy growing up, but that may be an understatement.

The athletic actress was a second degree Black Belt by the age of 16. She also played football, karate, basketball, tennis, gymnastics and baseball.

“Laura Vandervoort is to appear in the fourth season of White Collar.

The USA drama’s next run will debut on Tuesday, July 10, it was recently announced.

Smallville star Vandervoort will play a New York socialite who shares romantic chemistry with Neal (Matt Bomer), reports TVLine.

Following the death of her wealthy husband, Vandervoort receives a substantial life insurance payout.

The actress is best known for playing Kara / Supergirl on The CW’s Smallville between 2007 and 2011. She also starred in NBC’s reboot of V and will appear in Seth MacFarlane’s forthcoming film comedy Ted.

New episodes of White Collar will pick up where the third season left off, with Neal having fled the country…..”

According to wikipedia, ‘Smallville’ is still on the air, and in fact began it’s 10th season earlier this week. That seems hard to believe, but either way, the CW sent out some new pictures of Laura Vandervoort looking fantastic as Supergirl. She looks so good I wanna watch the real show now. Is there a real show? Is this thing seriously still on the air? What the hell is the CW anyway? She looks like Charlize Theron, is she related to Charlize Theron? Why do dogs have wet noses? 20 dollars!? Do you think that girl over there likes me? So many questions. Life is full of mysteries, my friend.
